I'm doing the CiviCRM session on Friday morning. The plan is for me to provide an overview and then for Jacob Singh from CivicActions to present a live CiviCRM implementation - with examples of integration and API usage. However, Jacob is not registered for the conference.

I'm hoping that I can get him in with me to do the presentation on Friday. What do I need to do to make this happen?

I was reading through Oracle's project to integrate with Drupal and planning to attend the Enterprise session and the Performance and Scalability event.

The points raised by the Oracle white paper boil down to: 'Platform-neutral' SQL is not a good idea for application development.

"The approach of using platform-neutral SQL is well-intentioned but painfully impractical for complex software. The experience in this project backs up this claim."

Will there be any broadcasting of sessions for those that cannot physically be present? Archival videos?

It's not a software project, but a number of people from the Drupal Dojo are going to attend this conference, and we're interested in seeing if we can get a slot on the schedule to have a session.

Alternatively, if there's any time set aside (end of day, etc) for BoF sessions, that would work out well too.

And contra the topic of this forum, I do feel qualified to run this session. Let me know what's up.

I would love to see a session on "Making Drupal SEO-Aware". With a few contrib modules, Drupal is already 60% "search friendly" but that's still a hell of a long way from "search savvy".

I'm not talking about black-hat stuff (link spamming, cloaking, sneaky redirects or keyword stuffing) but rather optimizing the legal stuff by making Drupal aware of keyword goals -- able to provide search engines with a high degree of planned clarity and focus.

I am a case manager at one of the larger social services agencies in San jose. We have explored and dumped a proprietary package by Bowman Systems called ServiePoint. We are currently (blindly) following the in-house development from scratch approach with one developer(we have 290+ employees and 46 programs), and I am trying to raise the flag and call for open source development (with drupal), before we waste any more precious resources.

Looking for some insight into what it takes to be able to build proficiency in set-up, administration, and trouble-shooting.
