It's locate here (on google maps).
I booked the flights and accommodation today for myself and my colleague, Nikos. £1522 in total for flights from UK (LGW) to San Jose (SJC) via Minneapolis (MSP). Arrive late Wednesday and leave Saturday.
Anyone staying near there?

I just booked 4 nights at the Comfort Inn with a queen suite and a 2-person jacuzzi tub for $380.00.
Looks pretty nice for a low-star hotel.
It's way cheaper if you book directly through their site, and use the "internet user" discount.

I'm not sure if this was a good idea. I just booked at the nearby Sundowner Inn (it's located between the Sheraton and the Best-Western). The place looks pretty bad and has lots of scary reviews.
On the other hand, I was able to get the executive suite (high speed internet, fireplace and jacuzzi) for less than a small room at the Sheraton.

The Sheraton listed on the conference page is very expensive ($200+ per night) and the recommended Best Western hotel is sold out. I looked around for something nearby with a good rating and not real cheap (I've had problems with cheap rooms in the past) but less than the Sheraton and came up with the Wild Palms Hotel http://local.yahoo.com/details?id=21328164. Anyone know anything about it?? The Yahoo ratings look very good and the rooms are about half of the cost at the Sheraton.

Is the summit actually being held on the Yahoo campus (701 1st Ave) or in a nearby hotel or conference center?
This might be something to add to the FAQs so that attendies can book nearby hotels.
Thanks,
Chadj
