The idea is to give Drupal "newbies" a basic idea of what to look for when auditing their Drupal Web Applications and the open source tools that can be used to do so.

This is just a basic presentation intended to target new Drupal developers/users. This is not intended to be a web application hacking or advance web application security session.

Thursday - 3:00pm - Thursday - 4:00pm

Room:
room 2

Description:

The search module is one of the gems in Drupal's crown. It is elegantly architected and very solid in terms of its theoretical foundation. It is also one of the least understood components.

I will show you how Drupal handles search and how it can be extended and customized. Then, Doug Green will show you the work he's been doing on CCK and Views assisted searching.

This presentation will be broadcast dojo style (with VNC, SkypeCast and IRC). Check here for more details closer to the event.
