Web2.0 applications, such as Flickr, del.icio.us and Upcoming.org are getting more popular among web applications today. They often expose APIs that allow developers to build mashups, which combine various Web service for a greater good! These Web services not only return XML, but also support formats such as RSS, JSON and serialized PHP.
