Is attendance limited or not?

We're waiting for final confirmation that we can go to 420. We will "cap" at 350 until we get this confirmation.

I know how hard it is to put something like this together. Kudos to the organizers!

Would be cool if you had form for registration that told us it was closed until further notice. instead of authority error.

with a nice field that allowed me to put in my email address to be notified when it opened back up.

By the time I got approval to go, the registration had been removed! I hope more spaces open up soon.

Does anyone know if it will reopen or not? When is the deadline?

Another developer and I both have approval to go now... it would be good to start being able to make travel plans!

Any new information regarding capacity at the event? We're only a day or two away from 21 days prior to the event - an important milestone for booking airfare!

Apparently they are already over the numbers they allowed at yahoo during the day. I just cancelled my hotel and flight.

I understand the pressures of putting something like this together. But next time -- to maintain credibility, you *must* communicate with people. If you can't accommodate everyone, tell us. If you're still trying and there's a chance, tell us. This site and forums contain conflicting information about reopening registration. If there were an authoritative voice saying what was going on, there wouldn't be this confusion and frustration. Thanks and have a great conference.

Yes, that is indeed correct. They have know about the cap for a couple of weeks already, but the lack of communication is causing a lot of unnecessary confusion. There was talk of the limit just being during work hours, and that they had more space (and would schedule sessions) in the evenings. If so, I may still be interested in going. Hopefully a schedule is put up soon.
